All of our 100% Pure and Natural Beeswax Candles will develop a natural white coating called "Bloom" The whitish film is an indicator of purity and high quality. It is cherished by beeswax fanatics and offers a rustic, sophisticated, and natural look.
Bloom is defined in the Merriam Webster’s Dictionary as a “state or time of beauty, freshness and vigor.” Fully developed bloom will sparkle beautifully in the light and look like crystals or snowflakes. It takes several months for bloom to form on beeswax candles, however it forms quicker in cool environments. Bloom will not affect burning or the aroma of the candle in any way.
If Bloom is not for you, simply polish the candle with a soft cloth, cheese cloth, or lightly heat it with a hair dryer to remove it.
